I've tried both the .98 and 1.21 although I've only had the 1.21 for a few days so I have more time with the .98.
I've used Masters, Blue Diamond, Kamui .98, and Kamui 1.21. I'm a casual player who plays mostly at home for about 30 minutes a day.
My overall impression is that any chalk is fine...
This may be a long shot, but anyone interested in trading me a brand new Apple magic trackpad for some pool stuff? I got it with my imac but I prefer a mouse so I never used it. They are about $70 new.
I'd be interested in instruction DVD's or books, good tip tools, low deflection shafts with a...
Aside from the hard tip, is a Predator BK2 shaft any different than a 314-2? I'm looking for a break cue and I'm thinking if I put a hard tip on my spare 314-2 shaft...that should be pretty close.
If there are differences, what are they?
Thanks.
I am in a similar situation as you. I got a table about 7 months ago and play practice everyday. I hit a plateau and then video taped my stroke and realized I had a stroke mechanics issue. This forum was fantastic and helped me troubleshoot. My stance was too open and my wrist was too flexed...

I have an excellent OB-1 shaft for a 3/8 x 10 with a black collar. It has the original Everest tip and it is plenty of wear left on the tip. (12.75mm tip) No dings, scratches, and straight. No blue chalk marks on the shaft. This is a great shaft in excellent condition and I'm very...
I'm reducing the price to $125 shipped within the US.

I have an OB-1 3/8 x 10 shaft in perfect condition. It has no nicks, no blue marks, and the tip is the original tip and almost new. It is perfectly straight and in perfect shape. (12.75mm layered tip, wood ferrule)
I'm in the mode now where I'm trying a lot of different shafts to figure...
it worked
Thanks for these tips. I was up late last night working on this and it worked. I started standing less open which allowed me to pull my hips to the left more and that straightened out my stroke. It also allowed me for some reason to straighten up my back wrist position. Before my...
This is an interesting thought. It makes sense as to why when I hit harder, it gets worse. It does feel sometimes like my body gets in the way a bit. Do you think my stance is related? I have a pretty open stance and get down pretty low. Does the stance open/ closed make your arm closer or...
