Question for Bryan Mordt or Anyone with Knowledge

Melamine could be ordered in sheets direct from thermoplastic makers. As for Aegis, I dunno... where did the name come from anyways? I you want an expensive solution, buy the thickest rod availabe and square it off on four sides then cut into billets for the size you need

    CNC Anyone?

The steady rest is something that I'd like to have... That would be a great travel lathe set up for doing quick repairs on tournaments... :D But the machine doesn't look like it would have enough torque in it for cue work... :( Hadj

    CNC Anyone?

You on crack bud? :D FYI, that's one of Mr.Tuckers dedicated machines in his shop. Uses it to slice ring billets 0.015" and does a great job... big difference what a dedicated machine does... can't wait to see pics of what tp/ferrule set Mr.Tucker has :D :D :D

    White joint material

Mike, I haven't yet. I've tried the Ivorine3, MP Ivory and delrin that atlas has... might give aegis a shot if you would recommend it. I assumed I can't find something of the white variety that's close to the black linen. I used to fashion out joint caps with old aramith cueballs I have :D...

What would be a good white colored material for the joint that's as close to double black linen in characteristics? Sources... Thanks, Hadj
