    Dr Dave exam 1

Has anyone done the Dr Dave billiard university exam 1 that is on YouTube? If so, how was your score? It takes a bit to set up but I think it helps point out weaknesses. I did it 3 times yesterday on a 9 ft Diamond and scored 63, 65 & 69. I found my controlled draw and stop shots need work...

    One Pocket Run

I ran 12 & out my first trip to the table, made a ball on break and ran 5 more for an 18 ball run. Its the highest I've done or seen...

    A Rules Question

I also posted this on the snooker forum, but I figured I would post it here also since I'm sure one of you guys would know this. Also, this forum gets a lot more views and we are probably playing tonight. Recently a friend of mine bought a 5 by 10 snooker table. My question is; player 1 shoots...

    Rules Question

I played snooker quite a few years ago. Recently a friend of mine bought a 5 by 10 table. My question is; player 1 shoots at a red ball (on ball) and misses the ball completely but does not scratch. The cue ball snookers player 2 from hitting a red ball. Player 1 gets at least a 4 point foul...

    Consecutive 9-balls on break

I was playing a 9-ball session the other night & my opponent made Five straight 9's on the break. Granted we were playing on a bar box with a heavy cueball, but I still thought that it is very unusual to make that many in a row. Has anyone seen more than five 9's on break in a row?

    Is this legal?

I went into our local pool room for the first time in a couple months. A guy that I have never seen before ask me if I want to gamble some.
