I am tired of hearing people moan, groan and make smart remarks about safeties

I play in a lot of tournaments, and i do my fair share of gambling, and one thing i just cannot stand is when people, some of them experienced players, have to make a stupid remark getting up from their chair after you have played a good saftey. I am a firm believer if you are playing someone...

Professionals that are great for the sport

I know every professional is good for our sport in some way, but who do you think are a few of, lets say top 3, best representatives for our sport, and why do you think so? Ralf Souquet is my first pick. He always dresses well, easy to talk to, never says a bad word, always looks focused and...

Thinking of having a golf grip put on my cue

Hi I have tested many wraps, and the wrap is the only thing i tend to be picky about on my cue, and i was golfing the other day and it hit me: A golf club grip would be perfect on a cue (to me). anyone have any experience with this or know if it could be done? Feedback much appreciated.

    The dumbest question ever

Youre going to the hot country for this question! Kidding. I agree with what is said about 4 inch pockets here, it hinders your ability to play proper position, making some shots not possible.

Ryan Stone vs Tommie 'Blackie' Stevenson - Action at Michaels

Ive only known him about a year and when i met him he already played great, but the improvement over the last year or so has been awesome to see. He plays extremley well, but i dont think he gets his due.

I just got back home from there, and they were both playing pretty good.

    Stricklands sense of humor

Am i the only person that finds some of the stuff Earl says to be britches-wetting hilarious? This is not a thread to insult him or be negative towards him, but what are some of the funny things that he has said? One that sticks out in my mind was during the Archer challenge match. A minute...

    Larry Nevel vs Johnny Archer

I like Archer in this one, i believe he is the better player, and i think temperment will play a large role here. Nothing at all against larry, but i have heard he has a tendency to get upset during matches and start throwing his cue at the balls. Archer is not known for giving up, so i like his...

ipt sigel vs schmidt proved what

Schmidts replies to these insults are often hilarious to me. Whether they are intentionally funny or not, i get a laugh out of his analogies and the way he words things. I remember the thread where it was stated John was banned from the viking tour for some reason and he said something along the...

Do you dress up for matches?

Great post! Yes i feel the need to dress well whenever im at the table, but especially for tournaments. I tend to wear eithier lacoste or nike golf shirts (i like the dry fit spanex-like material, keeps you cool) Dress pants, a shiny belt and a good pair of leather shoes (Kenneth coles) Once in...

Am i the only one tired of "hustlin'" wear and thugged out hats at prestegious events

Thats the reason i never made it in professional pool, my lumbago was just too intense.

Am i the only one tired of "hustlin'" wear and thugged out hats at prestegious events

I also thought it was funny to point out: I have gotten several negative e mails about this topic, and most of them said just about the same thing. One of them said "look you old fart i know how it was in your day but those days are over". Funny that i am only 18....hardly an "old fart" I dont...

I did not say dressing well alone would make us as much money as golfers, but it is a step in the right direction. I said there are MANY reasons golf is a more prosperous sport, and attire is one of those reasons.

Mully, every reply you have posted has been SPOT on to what i am talking about. I get tired of people saying "WELL IM DRESSING FOR COMFORT!" Grow up and get some nice clothes. I have a nice pair of black dress shoes i wear that i took the insoles out of and got a pair of sport gel insoles in...

I think most of the women on tour dress just fine! Allison springs to mind as one who is a great dresser. And you look good in that outfit, very cute!:)

Great posts. I dont want anyone to think im attacking the brand hustlin USA, i actually suppourt them. I referring to how their brand and other brands are ruined by little thug wannabes wearing them and acting like jackasses. I understand not even the majority of their customers are like this.

I might have been unclear, and its my fault for getting so passionate about these sort of things. I dont mean Hustlin wear in and of itself is a bad brand, its the thug wannabes who wear it down to their ass that is dragging pool down. I have no problem with hustlin wear in and of itself and in...
