Poll: Should Jump Shots Be Banned?

JB you have made reasonable arguments for you position up until this post. Comparing a skill that you have to learn to a "skill" that you can buy is nonsense. (we all agree jumping is easier with a jump cue or this thread would have died a couple of days ago) ~Carter

Poll: Should Jump Shots Be Banned?

No need to ban jump cues, just ban changing cues during a match!

Poll: Should Jump Shots Be Banned?

Yes, almost every shot is a jump shot in the the cue-ball leaves the surface of the table. Next time you are at a table, place a dime directly at the base of the front of the cue-ball and you'll be amazed at how easy it is to clear...

Poll: Should Jump Shots Be Banned?

I completely agree - instead of allowing 2, 3 or even more cues, you can only play with 1. The only change would be a tip coming off, broken ferrule, cracked shaft, etc. and then only the shaft could be changed.

Poll: Should Jump Shots Be Banned?

No rage, no right, no wrong, just opinion... As I think ALL players should know the rules and use the rules to their full advantage, within the intent and as good sportsmanship allows. And, as long as the rules allow, use a "jump" cue, "break" cue, "masse" cue, and when they come along, a...

Poll: Should Jump Shots Be Banned?

That's just my opinion ... ... I also think break cues shouldn't be allowed. I understand that break cues have their advantages, and I use one sometimes. I also have a jump cue (Bunjee), 2 break cues (Keith Josey and Eddie Bishop - local) and a bunch of playing cues a Thomas Wayne is my...
