How is asking someone if there is any room to play with in their price "playing" someone. That is common practice in a deal like this. Don't post something if you aren't willing to sell it. It certainly is not illegal to retract a price, but it is a Jerk move if you left it out there to be seen.

The geometry of the table has nothing to do with where the cue ball will go after the shot. Only the natural tangent line created by the shot (plus any spin added) will determine where the CB goes regardless of how one got into that shot line.
