Top 10 things that annoy me the most

My #1.... Loud mouth rail birds who think they are sooooo clever and or funny while watching then demand total silence and absence of motion from everyone in the room while they play.

Can you straighten a warped shaft?.....Manwon can!

"piece of surgical tubing." I like the heat lamp with thermostat idea and I might replace the tubing with a small turnbuckle. For the skeptical you might experiment on a half inch dowel rod before subjecting a shaft to these methods. You could warp it then straighten it out.

Can you straighten a warped shaft?.....Manwon can!

I agree with all you have said. I use a one hundred watt light bulb in a drop light as the heat source. Clamp the bend in the opposite direction just slightly more than the bend with a shim directly under the bend. Place the drop light over the bend with the guard resting on the shaft. Leave...

I had read here that a pause at the back on final stroke was great for draw and it really improved mine. I pause now on all my shots and have stepped up a level in overall play. Old dog 66 like me can learn new tricks.

    break cue weight

Seems logical to me that if I can throw a small stone faster than a :)brickbat I can, with very short stroke in relation, get more speed out of the lighter cue. The same force applied arm strength will result in faster speed to the lighter object or am I wrong and why.

    Tired of the cry babies

Crying about the crybabies are we?....... If a rail bird is commenting on your shots loud enough for you to hear and it bothers you ask him politely the first time and with what ever volume and force necessary the second time to STFU.

    special thanks to pat fleming.

Using the mechanical bridge - should it be banned?

Why not ban jumpbreak sticks, hand powder, gloves, chalk holders, cue slickers, tip tapers and picks as well. All tools of the game. To make it totally fair everyone must shoot with a warped house stick no chalk.
