2013 AZ Billiards Straight Pool Challenge!

Meucci 59 Viking 40 I shot a 59 twice this year, followed by a 56, 50, 49 and I shot a 40 yesterday. Yesterday, I was using my Viking cue and not my favorite Meucci. It was the first time I've played 14.1 without one of my Meucci's. I'm just so used to the Black Dot and UW shafts I fall to...

    thanks CJ Wiley

Thanks, Again CJ Well, each morning I play from 8:00 a.m. 'til 12:00 noon. I am on the pool table for a period of four hours. Needless to say, this is exhausting work every morning. I have gotten so good at dividing the pocket into 3 distinct parts that I can now thread the object ball into an...

Black Dot and Zero Flex laminated shafts

I have several Black Dot shafts and I also have an Ultimate Weapon shaft. I prefer the UW shaft when using CJ Wiley's TOI technique, but I love my Black Dots. Sorry about the Lucasi, but I've not shot with that one.:)

    New Meucci Shaft info wanted

I am considering making yet another Meucci purchase. I already have several Meucci cues and love each and every one of them, but I feel that pressing urge to by the "Pro One" series. It, too, has the Power Piston butt. It also is advertised as having a different tapered shaft than the Black Dot...

    TOI CJ Wiley

I won 40 games in a row the other night at the Moose Lodge and finally it was time to close. I couldn't believe the difference in my playing. 4 different guys kept lining up trying to beat me and not a one of them did. I just kept playing the table and whatever was presented. I got great...

    Checklist for High Runs

I've run 59 balls once and many times 50, even 55 a couple of times, but I tire easily and lose that all-important concentration. I find that using CJ's TOI has helped me pocket balls more quickly and with being less fatigued and therefore I'm looking forward to breaking my record one of these...

    New shaft break in ?

So if I am able to break in my low-deflection shaft will it become a no-deflection shaft? I'm excited.:grin-square:

TOI with LD or normal shaft

I am very honored to have you address me personally on this Forum. I can not thank you enough for putting so much of your time and years of experience right here on this public forum for me to read, study, adapt and employ. Although I have no pressing urges to become a better competitor, I am...

TOI with LD or normal shaft

This is what I've been doing and the results are just what I've been looking for.:)

    TOI CJ Wiley

I've been shooting TOI all week for around 4 to 4 1/2 hours per day and I am thoroughly excited about it. I'm potting nearly every ball now. Such a simple little adjustment has changed my game so dramatically. I hope I continue to remember TOI for all my shots.:)

    8-Ball (1 and 15)

"Alabama 8-Ball" I've learned here on this Forum that in some places the game is called Alabama 8-Ball. The rules for 8-Ball apply plus the 1-Ball is to be pocketed on the left-hand (from the breaker) side pocket of the table and the 15-Ball is pocketed in the opposite side pocket. Who ever...

Great Pool Today With A Gentleman

I played pool against a 92 year-old man today with all his wits about him and he could really play well. We played for 4 hours and I'm the one who had to quit from getting tired! He shot very well and to my extreme surprise, not once, repeat, not once did he ever tell me what shot I should make...

Buying a new cue and have questions

I wish I could answer that question. I've searched all over the place to find the answer, but it still escapes me. (My short answer would be "Other than the pin and some inlay, I see no appreciable difference, except in price".)

Buying a new cue and have questions

I think the answer to that is that to avoid any commercial "hype" I'd like to have him post his answer(s) here in front of many knowledgeable players in an open forum.

Buying a new cue and have questions

I was hoping that Bob Meucci or one of his associates would happen to read this post and answer me. But, to no avail so far.

Buying a new cue and have questions

I'm very much aware of the "hype" associated with the advertising. It's just that I truly do like shooting with the Power Piston butt and the UW shaft. I'm more interested in knowing about the G-10 pin and how that plays in to it all.:)

Buying a new cue and have questions

When you say "Custom" how will I know that such a butt and shaft will be better than a Meucci? For example, I know several builders who make hand-made guitars and mandolins that are absolutely beautiful to look at and to hold, but they do not match the tonal qualities of the old standbys like...

Buying a new cue and have questions

I am hell-bent on purchasing a new BMC Pro-1 cue from Budget Billiards and would like to know if anyone has ever shot with the Pro-series (with the G-10 pin set up). On the web site it says unless the player is a 6 or better, they won't be able to use the stick that well. I've won lots of local...
