    One Pocket Foursome

The foursome most often playing One Pocket at the billiards hall I hang out at consists of an older gentlemen who’s 88 years of age and has had a glass eye since he was a young child and knows his way around a pool table the likes of which I’ve never seen a match; a man in his sixties who has...

    How to elevate your game?

Brian, I purchased your "Poolology" for my tablet and I'm very impressed with the information and the way it's written. Thank You very much for spending the time it took to make such a fine method of teaching fractional-ball aiming. I had fooled a little with fractional-ball aiming before, but...

Anyone else not like Ebony cues?

I've got an old ebony Meucci Gambler and a Winter Series #2 also of Ebony. They're heavy and I love the way they hit. Ebony and Ivorine are my style of Black-and-White. Don't much care for the newer black plastic and white "ivory-like" cues flooding the markets.

    Congratulations - Skyler Woodward...

Shoot well Skylar with that "souped-up" Meucci. I've got a bunch of Meucci's and I love each and every one. I've souped up a couple of shafts and like the response I get.:)

    Recognize This Meucci?

I own a "Winter Series 2" built by Bob Meucci back in the mid-nineties. I showed it to him a couple of months back and he told me to hang on to it. It's in great shape. I had him sign one of the two shafts I've got with it. It's a straight shooter and I thoroughly enjoy shooting with it. It's...

    Help identifying a Meucci

Looks like it might have been a ANW 1 blank to start and then the points and wrap, etc., :) were added to add a little taste. It's certainly unique. I like it....but then I'm a big Meucci fan anyway.:)

What do you do when in a slump?

When I hit a plateau, I refresh my own personal aiming method that I've created by adapting several aiming methods from others. It works amazingly well because the geometry doesn't lie. Once I focus again on what works so well for me, I'm right back in stride. I've drawn out several examples...

    meucci good and bad

Clearly, I'm the luckiest guy in the world when it comes to buying Meuccis - both old and new. I have a ton of Bob's cues and only one shaft (an old, old, classic) has any wobble. Never had a problem with inlays, butt wobble, weight distribution, "hit", or customer service. Bob is a wonderful...

    The Ultimate Weapon Shaft

I absolutely love my Meucci UW Pro. I have two of them and the first one I got I later had turned down two different times until it reached 10.7mm. This is a beautifully-sized tip for massive spin. ( I use a Kamui Black Super Soft on this shaft). Some folks don't care for the small diameter...

Receive the wrong cue from Budget Billiards?

I meant to say Budget Billiards (Bob's Meucci factory). Budget Cues is Bob's daughter's company.

    UltraSkins and SIBs

Unhappy with Ultra Skins Recently I purchased another Meucci cue. A brand new one that I picked up personally from Bob at his factory in Bahalyia, Mississippi. He swears up and down about how good the Ultra Skins are, but honestly, after 6 weeks of playing every day for four or five hours...

Your shaft LD or regular Mayple?

I've got several different types of shafts in my collection of cues but I'm happiest with the "Pro" shaft from Meucci. It's all maple and it hits just like my old, old maple shafts that came on my old Meuccis.

    Another bad experience from Meucci

Did you call Bob Meucci and let him know about the shaft(s)? The Pro Series cues are back-weighted similar to the old-style Meucci cues and lately he uses an aluminum bolt in the joint to help keep the weight in the back of the cue.

    One pocket

I'm playing 1-pocket 4-5 hours a day now 6 days a week. Me and the Boys are crazy about it....can't seem to get enough of it. I've learned so much about banking from this game. It's a super game.

    Another bad experience from Meucci

The workers continued working except for a 1/2 hour lunch break while we were there. Bob is the one who took the time to play pool with my wife and me; to give me a few pointers on pool stance and aim; and to show us a few trick shots. I also played the banjo and fiddle for him as he had...

    Another bad experience from Meucci

I've got an arsenal of Meucci cues, both old and new. Some of the really old ones have a little cue roll like any olden, vintage cue that may have spent a few cold nights in the back of a car. None of my "new" shafts have anything wrong at all. I just finished picking up my latest cue (21st...
