Matchroom changing break rules for European Open (Aug 9-14 Germany)

It may be my limited abilities but 9 on the spot with a template rack seems like a very simple solution. Every rack should be a tight rack. The one ball is the only reliable ball to make and it requires a cut break with force and is much more difficult than the one and wing with 1 on the spot...

Racking your own in money games

In my neck of the woods, money games are almost always rack your own. Knocking them around in a friendly is always loser racks, for the embarrassment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ruslan Chinakhov

I was just watching DeLuna vs Chinakhov in the 2019 WPA Players Championship and it got me thinking. I have seen/heard little about Chinakhov since his 2019-2020 seasons. I hear about how Russia’s recent aggressions against Ukraine has affected Gorst and Tkatch but I never hear about Ruslan. Is...

    Pool cue gift!

If you’re really wanting to buy her a cue, go to McDermott’s website and pick out a Lucky. They range from $70 to $200 and are very playable cues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Interesting interview with WPA

Hats off to Cue It Up and Doggin' It podcasts. The insight they bring to the pool fans by having guests like Emily Frazer, Karim Belhaj and Ishaun Singh is spectacular. It's great to see they all have the same intentions, growth of the sport, but for different reasons. I have confidence that...

    Emily Frazer/ 9 ball Fix

I 100% agree with Cameron. I’ll add, they should use a template for multi-table events where a referee is not available to rack. That’s all that needs to be changed, imo. Oh and maybe make the 5 orange again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Pool Ball Marker ID

Looks like a Snooker ball marker and spot checker. The spot checker being used to see if a colored ball can be placed on its spot or not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is this really Matchroom's regular price?

The Matchroom price is a great deal but does it require a Facebook account to view? If Facebook is not required, I will be making an annual subscription purchase. DAZN is dead to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Nine Ball UK Open.

The only real reason I couldn’t watch on Facebook is that I’m not a Facebook person and really don’t wholly understand how it works. I do not have a Facebook account and that has caused me a few problems. Some of the problems involve restaurant menus, pool tournament entries, local business...

    Nine Ball UK Open.

There is no acceptable apology for this fiasco, although I expect Matchroom will have one. Missing out on the event as it unfolds live, is unforgivable. I’ve given DAZN my last penny ever. Subscription cancelled immediately and forever. Matchroom no longer gets the benefit of the doubt either...

    Nine Ball UK Open.

I’ve never said anything bad about Matchroom. But now I will. This is a ridiculous screw up on Matchroom’s part. Matchroom is no longer the best promoter of pool. We’re back to the people who pirate streams as the best promoters in pool. Add the purple 5 and this is almost a deal breaker...

    Drop pockets or ball return?

Ball return. I have drop pockets and they are great for looks and tradition but if you’re planning on playing games, ball return is the way to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He's a poker, wants to be a stroker

A timing method, such as, "ladies and gentlemen", "ready, set go", "one two three" or even "great big boobies", may help. Anything to get a slow backstroke of two counts and a forward stroke of one, with follow through. The same timing is used for all shots. It helped my stroke a lot.

May just be my preference but not only inside but a quarter to half tip high too. Whatever it takes to make sure I am not below center. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Confused on theory that a forward balanced cue helps with follow shots and a rear balanced cue helps with draw shots
