When I paid my entry a couple weeks ago it was still the week of the 19th. 🙄 But maybe it was listed with both dates which appears to still be a problem.
I booked my hotel right after paying my entry. O well I guess now the work begins to change everything.
So I was just looking at the expo website…
previously the event was listed as the 19-23rd of April….
now it’s moved forward a week?
and conflicting info?? Already had my hotel lined up and got time off of work. Now gonna have to go thru the pain of switching that!
Curious if anyone is up this way and wants to play some Wed/Thurs this upcoming week. I will be there for a work conference and would like to set up some battles after work.
Looks like gold crown billiards is the place to play, but if anyone else has suggestions, I am open.
Thanks!
Correct… so if Filler is winning less, is he is less valuable as an asset?
Getting less TV/stream time, less general exposure, earlier outs in event, and the assumption that the shaft change hurt his game are all very negative for predator.
Agreed on the R&D…. curious whether results or product placement is more important to predator and the people buying their products.
like if Fillers game falls off (which I don’t think it will), does he switch to a company like mezz who someone else stated is pretty freely letting their players...
im sure he can adjust but I’m surprised they would force him to change when they still sell the Z. You would think they would like to say hey, all of our shafts are awesome!
Not everyone is going to end up buying a CF shaft.
Yeah, i would say that most of the dealers there are more interested in selling cues rather than trading. There are always exceptions, especially for big cues from well known makers.
if dealing with another individual I think your trade potential is better, but then it just comes down to who...
The words degenerate and gambling do not have to go hand in hand. I would venture to guess that most of the people who have responded to this thread so far in favor of gambling are far from degenerates.
enjoying action on the game or set and pushing your comfort level is a great way for many...
I am not much to play for fun. I have a table at home and do plenty of that.
when I am out and about I prefer to match up and play for money. With most of my buddies it’s $10/game 1p or 20/50 sets. I find it keeps us interested in the game and trying to play our best while not having to...
This event has been on my bucket list for quite some time. I haven’t found the justification to take an entire week away from work/family to go yet, but honestly this thread is making me think I’m not in any hurry. Hopefully by the time my kids are a little older I will make it out there and...
