I think Ryan Theewen at Mueller has those neo cork and he does a great job with wraps. Last i remembered he also mentioned something about dyeing the regular cork. Maybe you can ask him about it. I think they are also in those Mueller catalog.

I would not say they are rare, neither are these readily available. But if you live in earthquake prone locations, these are probably the ideal cases to store your precious cues!
