    How often do you gamble?

Just curious, how often do you gamble when you play a match against someone?

I do that sometimes, it’s fun. I don’t get as good results as when I try hard, but I’m always a bit surprised by how not bad it comes out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The camera is limited to SDHC cards, so no extreme stuff such as 128gb SDXC cards. With this in mind, I had 16gb SDHC cards on hand so I'm using that. I film in 1080p and that takes a lot of space. (What you see in the video isn't real 1080p though, the video is zoomed, it's a wide angle...

Sylvain (the pro) does help me with my fundamentals, but I often forget about it and he doesn't always notice when I go back to being slightly crooked/misaligned. It's a work in progress. He does often tell me about follow through and staying down and moving less, but it's easy to forget when...

This guy is a AAA by the system we use here, which means he beats the 9-ball ghost with relative ease. He crushes me no sweat. This is a "pool academy", at least that's how the owner calls it. It's a pool-only place, no alcohol or anything, pool only.

I used a SJCAM 5000 WiFi, it's pretty much a knock-off GoPro which cost 1/3rd of the price. Works pretty well. On a related note, I just noticed that the video is a little bit overexposed, I'll try to fix that for future videos.

Informative post, thanks. I have a lot to work on, especially my stroke (and PSR). I think everyone said it in this thread. I tried to do the Billiard University exams again this month, but unfortunately I find myself not having fun anymore doing them. I might try them again in the future. I...

Thanks. I'll spend a good amount of time in the next few weeks working on my stroke. Most people told me that I was lacking in that department, so I'll make sure to fix that.

Thanks Scott. I indeed couldn't make 2 balls when I started :) I started off as a complete beginner who would only occasionally play with friends at the bar. Most of the points you enumerated are things that I am aware of and am trying to work on. My breaks indeed had poor control in this...

That is what I was doing, I had some doubt in my mind that it might scratch and wanted to be 100% sure. I still have some difficulty seeing easily the tangent line and where the cueball is gonna go so I have to use little "tricks" like this to make sure until it becomes more natural. Also, I...

Hello AZB, Here is my progress video for month 7. I play 10 racks of 9 ball. Unfortunately, due to a memory card format problem, the last rack has been cut out. I fixed the problem and thus it should work as expected for future videos. - Pocketing a ball counts for 1 point - The 9 ball counts...

Cutting to one side easier than the other?

I just read Dr. Dave's article vision center page (and watched the videos). It definitely is a good start. I remember going through this page when I started playing and I thought I had it dialed in good. The funny thing is that even if your vision center is slightly off, straight in shots can...

    502 Bad Gateway Error

Using a cleaning tool such as CCleaner should fix the problem. If that doesn't fix it, flushing your DNS cache might solve it, but I really doubt it: 1) Win + R, write "cmd" and press enter 2) Write "ipconfig /flushdns" and press enter Both of those solutions must be done with no browsers opened.
