Get rid of jump cues for Mosconi Cup

Love jump shots. Love jump cues. I'm certainly hoping they don't do away with them.

    preventing cue theft

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks! For those interested, I just found this : https://www.thetrackr.com/ Seems to be a better alternative to Tile (you can change the battery yourself)

    preventing cue theft

Does anyone use a bluetooth/GPS tracker? I am looking for one and don't know what to get. Preferably one that is small enough that I can hide in my cue case in an unused shaft slot or something like that.

    Confidence in Pool

It's a great book. It helps with a lot of things. Competitive play, consistency, having fun. I'd recommend it to anyone. It must be said though. It is hard to apply the notions learned in this book. You have to consciously remind yourself of them when playing and it is not as obvious as keeping...

Dennis vs Ko, race to 100, 20K.

That's a funny one! I'm of the opinion that Orcollo will get whooped by both Shane & Ko

    Show us your pool hall

This is the billiard academy of Sylvain Grenier in Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada. I play there pretty much every day. Great place. Even the kids can come play here since there is no alcohol sold.

    Playing with a Balance Rite

I don't agree that "just playing" is the most efficient path to quick improvement. I'd much rather grab all the information I can right at the very beginning. If I conclude I want a longer cue, I don't want to do so after 2 years and then need to get used to a "new" cue. Also, asking a question...

    Playing with a Balance Rite

How does a heavier cue affect making a shot with sidespin? A quick search on the web (more specifically Dr. Dave's website) indicate that since the weight isn't added to the endmass of the shaft, it shouldn't affect the squirt. Source: http://billiards.colostate.edu/threads/cue.html#weight...

What is the max allowed weight? My cue weighs 19.0oz My Predator extension that I sometime use weighs roughly 4.5oz The Balance Rite apparently weighs 2.0oz For a total of 25.5oz when I use my extension.

    Playing with a Balance Rite

Hello AZB! Recently I was at the pool room and someone had a Balance Rite, I asked them if I could try it and I ended up really liking the forward balance / longer length / additional weight. Is there any reason why one shouldn't play with a Balance Rite? The reason I ask is because I've yet...

Quickest path for improvement: Drills, ghost or a mix of both?

One hour and a half per week roughly. I have discussed my goals with him and he has already told me that getting me there as quickly as possible was also one of his goals, mostly because he thinks it would be good publicity for his pool academy. We often say that top players don't automatically...

Gonna have to work on my fundamentals it seems.
