Joint Pins - What and why

First off, you said the thread was too tight, I proved you wrong, gave you free advice even, smile, it's a wonderful Monday.

Joint Pins - What and why

No, it is not. Uniloc offers 3 sizes for their taps. WRONG. So what. The real discussion should be about the transference of energy in the area between the minor and major thread diameters. Energy does not transfer at 60 degrees like it will transfer thru the mild rise and fall of the...

    Dual-tapped shaft

Interesting, my comment was not reflective of your response, we were typing around the same time.

The answer is NO as long as you comprehend the actual question itself.

What are you doing for ventilation

Please note one thing on this discussion. Vacuums will not make the air safe to breath, end of story.

Time to let it go Joey, step away from the confuser.

OMG, the things I see on faceflop and the people who chimed in with agreement.

Your comment was based upon the first sentence, had you read further, you would have a better understanding. You have a zeal to comment without reading and fully comprehending, this thread is proof of that. I have always used 3M masks and once again Joey, it does not bother me, will you...

Radial Tap issue (new to repairs)

They are not the same, the difference has clearly been articulated. Good job to the OP for making it work. I have two of the Uniloc taps, one is standard size and the other is for a tight fit. No matter which one, I can see the threads inside.

    Funny pic/gif thread...

If a cat did that to me, I am sure a driver would be next in my hands. (Just kidding, ok a gun? Really, just kidding, I think.)

Radial Tap issue (new to repairs)

That is the Ball Screw tap. Uniloc radial is different. Spend the $175 and you will be set. If I am wrong and the $60 model works out, let me know.

Thanks for posting Chris, I seen your comment on the same thread. I will say this about Chris, even though I do not know him personally, I have considered Chris to be the true Stateman of this place and one who should receive "Poster of the Year" in this section if there was such a thing...

Think of it as a public service announcement for those who don't know any better. JC showed pics of what it did to him, hate to see anyone have that happen. Thanks, Dave.

OMG, the things I see on faceflop and the people who chimed in with agreement.

Weird was seeing people who wanted to sniff some themselves AND bragging about wood boogers, I can't top that with weird. I have cut wood all my life, never had problems but we have had people in here who were affected by it. I only tip my cues. I do no repair work of any kind but I do cut...

It's for the readers who don't know any better. Calling it a dumb post? That's really showing what you are, very sad, good day.

"If you've never been able to indulge in the spicey aromatics of fresh cut Cocobolo, you ain't lived.." Yes, the statement above came from a Cuemaker and I am not interested in naming the person. In the comments, people were bragging about wood boogers, weird stuff for sure. Bad advice is...
