    10 Ball Respotting

I played a 10 ball match yesterday and one interesting situation came up. I was shooting the 9 ball, called the pocket and made it. The cue ball then caromed into the 10 and the 10 dropped into another pocket. The CB stopped overlaying the foot spot. If I understand correctly the 10 must be...

Billiard University (BU) playing-ability-exam scores and ratings

I added ability to review/edit past exams - just click on Data/Time of the exam to view/edit that exam score sheet. Sometimes you have to take a break and continue the exam later. Obviously this is not possible during the official recorded exam, but is OK while practicing. Also you'll be able to...

Billiard University (BU) playing-ability-exam scores and ratings

I use framework called "AngularJS". In my opinion currently this is the best framework for developing "html5" apps. Another app I created using it about a year ago is "Bonus Ball Scoreboard"

Billiard University (BU) playing-ability-exam scores and ratings

Thank you, Dave. I'll add "Current Player Rating" as well as some more enhancement in a next few days. I tried the exams myself several times, but I still want to improve and reach a bit higher level before applying for the official diploma. I really appreciate your offer of the free diploma...

Table Difficulty Factor (TDF) for measuring table "toughness"

You can enter it either way 1.0625 or 1 1/16. It is still very short shelf, according to Dr. Dave's document anything under 1 1/4" gives PLF 0.95 (with these PSF and PAF)

Table Difficulty Factor (TDF) for measuring table "toughness"

Dr. Dave, I believe I now fixed all the issues with Online TDF Calculator. I ran it on about half of examples published on this thread and there are just few discrepancies: 1. MahnaMahna -- 10':1.10 -- 5 1/2":0.85 -- 2":1.09 -- 2 1/2": 1.15 -- 1.17 (snooker table poorly converted into a pool...

Table Difficulty Factor (TDF) for measuring table "toughness"

I fixed it. The problem was with parsing of decimal imperial values. I assumed that when using imperial units people will specify "4 1/4" instead of 4.25. Now it should work fine either way. However Cardigan Kid please verify your measurements, since 3.8 inches is "3 and 3.2 quarters of an...
