Your thoughts Cyclops Hyp vs Aramith

We only put Aramith Balls on the BreakRAK, it's the only ball that won't break. Now.., while I say it won't break, I mean the percentage is about 6 out of 5000+ in 19 years. We've tried other balls, but they didn't last in our trials. They never made it to production.

    Break cloth patch

Using a Break Pad is all I've used for 20 years. I've used a Break Pad for 20 years. I put one in every BreakRAK that is sold. I use one, since I sometimes use the BreakRAK & whack at it more than several times, to stay in stroke. One other thing. I used a Rempe Training Ball for a long time...

    McDermott Jump Training Ball

Jumping & Masse'ing Those are Very Good ideas... I'll have to try that. That info right there, might help students, to grasp the concept of Jumping. I could also use a marks-a-lot, on the plain balls, to simulate the marks on The McDermott balls.. You & I are just different. If I see a...

    McDermott Jump Training Ball

Jumping & Masse'ing I'm sure that McDermott spent some time designing their Jump Training Ball. I'd say .. if you buy the ball & learn how to jump real well in a week of effort, it has been money well spent. If you don't learn then maybe a call to McDermott would help. You might have been...

New aiming process "Striking Line Aiming" just introduced at the BCA Nationals 2012

Having been a Assistant Golf Pro, at Colonial Country Club, when Ben Hogan was still playing tournaments, I've watched that scenario take place many times at Shady Grove CC. It was larger than Life, to see the man hit those golf balls, at his caddies' feet, AND to watch the caddie slap the...

New aiming process "Striking Line Aiming" just introduced at the BCA Nationals 2012

What is the value of a product. I went through the Trolling Gauntlet myself. People complained about the high prices back then & some still ask about a discount. My BreakRAK has proven itself, over it's 19 year history. Gordy spent many hours designing his product, then he set about getting it...

Ronnie O'Sullivan does it again, Oct 5, 2019

Ronnie is the Best... Ronnie is without a doubt, the greatest Player of all time. No one will ever take his place. I liked Higgins too, every Sport needs a bad Boy, to give the game some personality. If Ronnie came to America, for a year, there would be Snooker Tables in Every Pool Hall...

    Downloading break tip

I did some research on Jumping, albeit not a great deal. I did try a FLAT tip & it was accurate as any tip I'd ever tried. But sometimes, there is a need to hit off center, for a Jump-Masse, so a flat tip is OUT... In the engineering business, a round end is said to be a crown. The dimension...

Eye pattern when standing and while getting down

Imagine this, if you will. Your brain is the computer & it's trying to see what you want to do. As long as your eyes are on the task, it is communicating with you about the task. When you look away, or blink too much, communication is broken & needs resetting. As I stand behind the cue ball &...

Read all about it... get yourself a copy of the book, titled "The GREAT Break Shot"... & read all about it....

    Downloading break tip

Garczar is correct... the more rounded the break tip, the more throw you can have on the shot, especially if you miss Center Ball hits... Miscues are a part of the problem too.

    table storage question

I restored a table in 2004. I tore into the RESTORE & before I realized what I had done, the gum rubber rails off a 1903 Monterrey Mission were laying in the floor. I'm sorry to tell that about myself. I ended up putting Dual Density Championship Cushions on the rails, but even today, I wonder...

    What About " TUCK & ROLL ???

There used to be a guy at the Billiard Palace, who knew about that Tuck & Roll stuff. He also talked about an Inside Out & an Outside In. He carried his Pool Cue (one piece) in a PVC Tube, maybe that will help you remember who he was. He said that Buddy Hall helped him with this format.

Dufferin Conersion One piece to Sneaky Pete

The Morse Taper, i.e. Conical Joint does not always use a threaded fastener, to hold it in place, but commonly does have a secondary center thread, to insure it's secure. In Industry.there are lots of OSHA Rules On my Lathe, you just shove it in there & get started. But it's just not quite the...

Dufferin Conersion One piece to Sneaky Pete

Yes, it is similar to that old joint. Guido & I designed this Joint & it is much more stable, than the Layani or Lambros Joint was. The joint is similar to a Morse Taper, which has been used in Industry, for decades,

Dufferin Conersion One piece to Sneaky Pete

I'm all for someone doing thing their own way. I did this very project, but my buddy the CueMaker, Guido Orlandi did it for me. He inserted his SUPERIOR joining system into the cue. In most of the metal & wood machining industry, around the world, a joint called "the Morse Taper is used, to...

"The Social Pool Network" and the return of a predator?

Actually, I don't think Mr Ball has any affiliation with the TSPN Pool Network, in any fashion. Mr SBPool, It seems that you would like to squash the chance, for something to grow, that Pool Players across the land are enjoying. There are always naysayers.... I hope you are wrong. APA & BCPL...
