Beautiful table, one of my favorites.

Already have the Ray book. As soon as I get my pool room done I can start working on my table. I then plan on working through Ray's book and another. I haven't bought Tom's book yet because I'm really focusing on 14.1.

Great review, I've been looking to add this book to my library. Now my question is what's so bad about Ray's book. Is there something in it that's not factual? I plan on working through it as soon as my table is setup.

Just last night as I was playing I felt I should just go to a Triangle. My player right now has a Moori medium on it and it's become very hard. I don't like Kamui's. I have a Precision medium on a cue that I find it a little soft but in all fairness it's only got a couple hours of play on it...

This thread just reinforces why I'm sending my rails to Mark. They were converted to Artemis and I believe they should be Superspeeds. I don't understand why you would want to try and make a Gold Crown play like a Diamond. If you want a Diamond buy a Diamond. If you want a Gold Crown buy a Gold...

The answer I like best. Seems to me that Gold Crowns should have Superspeeds and Diamonds Artemis. They play different.They're still quality pool tables. I prefer Gold Crowns most likely because they're all I ever played on.

Good question. I guess you'd have a Diamond that's been Gold Crowned. I think think they're both nice tables. I prefer Gold Crowns.

I went to a wrapped cue from wrappless. I have a Lizard Skin wrap and an Irish linen. I prefer both to an unwrapped cue at this point. Over the 2 wraps I have i prefer the Irish Linen but the lizard skin is my player. I'm most likely going to have an Irish line wrap put on it.

I want ball return for convenience as well. First I don't like gathering the balls. I find it much easier to get them from one location. Second I'm really focused on playing straight pool and feel the ball return is great for that particular game. I do think the drop pockets are better for 1-P...

The IV's were definitely an improvement over the III's. To be quite honest with you I don't think the III's are bad. I'm a Gold Crown guy and like the way they play. At a minimum the IV's are 10+ years old and the previous versions could be over 50 years old. Sure improvements can be made to...
