Not sure what you mean by "shaft from straight from southwest"? Do you mean the shaft is for a 3/8x11 joint?

Thanks to everyone for the good posts and messages, still trying to decide and looking. Also, I appreciate the information on the Kersh's and I would love to have one. But I am nearly positive they would be out of my price range (I'm trying to stay under $1200)

Agreed, I have never noticed any cue to effect my game for more than one or two games before getting a "feel".

I use one as regular player, and am aware of the Frey history.

Rough guess on percentage 50% - One player in a cheap, one cue case i got for free when a member here needed something to ship a cue in 40% - House cues are free and readily available, those tend to be all I need to be happy 10% - Leave my cue in the car and just play with a house cue anyway
