I got the standard model from Platinum. Their price is $399. It seems like a high price, but I have little free time and perfect playing equipment is important to me. I would rather spend my time playing instead of cleaning by hand.

I have heard of using an electric razor. Never tried it myself though. Maybe if you have some spare scraps of cloth you could try it there first?

Thanks for the input. I have shaped them with a shaper from the center out and finished off with a Willards dime shaper. Maybe the Willards is causing the edges to raise? I will play them for a while and see if it gets worse.
