    3/8 x 10 and Extension?

I’m sure he could easily handle a cue that already had a bumper - just plug it with wood and re thread for new bumper. But in my case, I had a bumperless butt.

    Do you pay attention...curious

I definitely acknowledge a break and run to myself as the rack is ending. I don't necessarily go home thinking "7 break and runs tonight fantastic"

What's Going On With Custom Cue Prices?

Are you suggesting you do not own an iphone/android phone? And how much more expensive is that rolex than the iphone? 10... 15.... maybe 20 times more expensive? How is that even a comparison?

What's Going On With Custom Cue Prices?

I don't collect anything and I'm 29. I am prone to collecting, but I can't derive pleasure from a collection when I have an MBA to pay for. Also, my wife and I are evaluating when we want to have a kid. Yes, I mean that whole heartedly. We are evaluating it like property or a large purchase...

They aren't telling him what to do - they are expressing their opinion over the situation. In your own words, if you can't understand that, I don't know what else to say to you.

    3/8 x 10 and Extension?

I sent my cue to Diveney and he thread the butt to accommodate the mezz x bumper and I bought a cheap extension on ebay that fits. Just my experience.

    Rules question please!!

I don't care what format I am playing - if some dingbat strikes an object with his cue on purpose as some sort of 'shot', I am not shooting another shot in that rack as that rack is now over.

Back when you used to close your eyes and break as hard as you could, right?

    How I look at it.

In one pocket particularly, some people bank well, some people choose not to take long shots when the cue ball is on the rail etc. These things affect how I choose to make my shot based on the percentage outcome of the shot. To not shoot against an opponent and their weaknesses/tendencies is...

Cheap action in Huntsville, Alabama 3/21 and 3/22

There should be someone lurking around bumpers or good timez willing to play at that level. There is a ten dollar buy in tournament at Bumpers Tonight at 8 and I believe a ten dollar buy in with calcutta tournament at good timez tomorrow at 6.

Who was/is best all around pool player, still alive today?

That's a fair point. Banks and One pocket are part of the decision making process for master of the table at DCC, which some here have concluded is very (and possibly most?) prestigious award in pool. I think these games make the distinction from bumper pool in that regard.

Who was/is best all around pool player, still alive today?

I understand, but what's the difference between banks as a game, and a nine ball player who banks really well? what's the difference between one pocket, and an 8 ball player who runs the balls really well and plays insightful safeties? We have access to games (banks, one pocket) that the rest...
