    Well i'm setting up 2 black crowns right now and the frames are fine. Stacking 4 tables high doesn't have much to do with the frame's toughness since the legs are standing on top of the others... i agree diamonds use better materials but does that makes black crowns a pos? Not. Some i installed...

    RKC is right about the aprons made out of particle board. But that doesn't affect playability at all. Cheaply built? No. They are pretty tough Sent from my iPhone using AzBilliards Forums

    The nut is to lock the rod in the caster so it doesn't spin in it while leveling, the screw in the bushing serves the same purpose

    Hammering the wax will mark the cloth making a clear white line at the seam. Try rolling a socket on it instead

    I'd look for a Canada billiard over a brunswick for a furniture table : stronger frames, great looks, made in your country...

    How did you learn?

    Most of the videos that you'll find on youtube are from people hacking their own table...not much real good tricks of the trade to learn from them.
