    you will have to take the 18 rail bolts off, pull the whole rails, aprons and castings in one piece. take the cloth off, recheck level, wedge seams on both sides, redo both seams would be wise since the cloth is off, put the cloth back on , put the rails back ,bolt everything tight...if you want...

    if you are willing to try , you just got the right table for doing so. a one inch three piece slates with backing is a lot harder to cover. if you don't tight it enough, it's a lot easier to take the rails off and stretch it some more. i say go ahead , let us know how it turned, and good luck.

    try out a simple long nose plier .no adjustments, goes deeper in the fork holes ,lot more torque,always have one around...
