Most brazilian slate mfg ship them flat 6 to 8 sets high…i don’t see any problems as long as your skid is flat to begin with

Actually,i don’t think it’s such a bad idea if you are going to finish with a 1/8th facing. They usually get cut real fast where the cushion meets the wood…

Something is missing on those drawings: hardware.
What you are going to use is as important if not more than how strong your parts are.
I personally would have the frame corners connected and not rely only on the legs to hold it together

I don’t think there is a hole to fill under the first ball of the rack. If it rolls out of place , it is usually because chalk gets compressed under it from every break. Have you tried just scraping the spot with a blade?

Oh and please keep in mind that at some point, pool tables have to be taken apart. Use removable bolts if you think you have to add anything, no epoxy
