When watching the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" and the pool table scene comes on. You don't hear any of the words spoken, because all you see are more than 30 shot glasses lined up on the rails, some of which are still full. You DON"T do that!

Isn't the average time per game lower in this match than you see in some tournaments? I don't watch very much OP, but recall seeing games last over 30 to 45 minutes when the balls end up in the kitchen..

My thoughts on Jay's commentary. Watching One Pocket isn't something that most average or below average pool players would have any interest in. Jay is talking like the audience has never even watched a game of 8 ball before (In other words, no knowledge of pool at all). Mute or no volume...

Except when you are playing at a new location by yourself, and the opponent is much bigger, very drunk and has a short temper, and several short tempered drunk friends. Then, you might reconsider.

Back in 1989, I played a six year old who was very capable of running the table if left an open shot. I had no problem with playing a safe. He was scolded afterwards for not leaving me safe. I believe the guy said "Shane, you have to play a safe if you don't have a shot"

SVB played in a local 9B tournament a couple years ago. The top ranked players had to win six games. Shane went to 12 games and still won.

At a vendor or state tournament, a heavy object could be placed on the mike button to override the speaker system when the crude songs are on. Some people ought to have their mothers notified when they play such crap. However, I do know some mothers who wouldn't care.
