    Hall of Fame Round...my thoughts

I think this is not going to be a very hard round for the players that have advanced thus far to overcome, particularly in groups 2 and 3. However, with that being said, group 1 is EXTREMELY interesting with Hall and Reyes going into this group. I have a feeling an upset more than likely will...

    Kenny Murreull 1- for sale

Okay...I was basing on my opinion on the Murrell's I have seen at wolfbite.com since he is the only person or website I have seen with Kenny's cues. I am sure there are more out there, maybe someone could point me at some sites? Thanks for setting me straight though, Shorty

    One liners.

My favorites... "My one legged grandma could of made that shot...and she has a bad case of termites." Then my other thing I like to do with an easy 8 ball is just turn away enough to catch the 8 out of the very edge of my eye and slam it in the hole with a big smile like Vincent in TCOM...

    Justis, or Whitten Case Owners

Given the choice of the two, and given I have owned a Whitten, I would lean toward the Justis. Simple reason, it's lighter. Whitten is better for storing cues IMO, because of the weight and the perfect elegance of a case, if you are just storing a cue then the case shouldn't be moved around a...

Not Too Many 8 Ball Break and Run

It was 44 degrees here this morning and been cool the last few days here in Florida. We have very little humidity at this time, so I don't think it would affect playing conditions too much. On the other hand, I hear the Orlando Convention Center is not the greatest when it comes to climate...

    to the second round

No thats just speculation...they have two more rounds. Every player plays five matches, and then the top three advance. In the event of a tie, it goes down to the GLI, the games loss index. The lower the number the better. Hope that clears it up! Shorty

    Day One Results:

GLI is games lost index...basically how many games you gave up before you got the win. That is a way to rank players in a round robin. Shorty

    A little about me..

Hi Mike and welcome to the board! For playing 8 ball, I highly recommend Jimmy Reed's video "8 ball strategy"...at least I think thats it. He sells them on eBay I believe and they really will help your game alot. As a former APA league player, I can understand your growing pains. The best...
