I presume it is a Szamboti blank finished by Searing, S+S=$50k? I'm sure it will fetch a significant amount as a nice piece of history, but $50k seems steep. But BBs seem to be astronomical without using historical pieces to assemble, so whatever people will pay will serve as the market....heck...

Thank Gawd! His post was drivel. I've seen his posts for years and they're always bizarre, but this last one takes the cake. Good riddance unless he takes a more reasonable and amicable tone.....there are valid opinions on both sides but not in Coco's world and there lies the problem.

Are you able to drive to Dennis' shop and get your items back? He was on here in the past year stating he was getting people caught up, but your issues seem much broader than just a single cue project.

Lol, the attorneys in Dallas charge a minimum of $500+/hr and the patent trial attorneys I work with charge $1500+/hr. It's insane what attorneys charge, lol. #notanattorney

I'm not sure that it was just "reasonably priced," but rather well below market for a Searing. I'm sure there's plenty of people who would have paid at least $1k for that cue. The cue sold because the seller left dollars on the table/didn't maximize his profit, either as a gesture of kindness...

Definitely an amazing pickup! Congrats to the buyer and very generous for the seller to offer such a deal! I thought it was a scam, but nice to see that good things can happen, even in the pool world! Lol.
