Balls popping out of leather pockets...

Try hitting some balls into the pocket until one comes out and pay very close attention to what the ball does. It may be riding the inside of that pocket around like a roller coaster loop and pooping out. That is what mine were doing, and I had to take measures to fix it. If you notice where the...

Balls popping out of leather pockets...

I have a very old Brunswick table with #3 pocket irons and had a very serious problem with this. The pockets were shaped in such a way that they caused the ball to travel around the pockets perimeter in a groove and deposit back on the table. I had to do some fairly serious surgery to the...

    Why is it?

I think it's also lack of communication skills in play here. Some people reply to a sarcastic statement as if it's literal, and they take offense to it, when everyone else could plainly see the sarcasm. Some people just have low reading comprehension and it goes both ways, when reading a post or...

    If you don't think!!!!!

To me, it looks like the whole end of his post is missing. First, he dogs on those who are not fans of Predators, or LD shafts in general, then he fails to elaborate on what happened last night that makes his opinion so strong.

    A few Brunswicks

Very nice!!!! It's just about double my collection. I have the same rack in the 12 cue version and enough titlists to fill it up and then some.

Skid again... it's static after all?

Creedo, what you added to my observation makes a ton of sense. When you put it with the sound it adds up. Way to expound, Bro!!! 9beezy:grin:

Skid again... it's static after all?

In my experience it's not just a slide, but almost a double kiss phenomenon happening between cb and ob. You can hear it when it happens. Or maybe it's that one of the balls has left the table slightly and that's what I'm hearing. I'd like to see Dr. Dave catch this and analyze it in slo-mo.

Correct cue length for a player’s height

I'm 6'2" and find my hand near the end of the cue also, but I have a long bridge length too. I've never felt that my stick is too short though. I guess it depends on you and if you feel that something is wrong with your game because of your stick length.

A Common Lanuage We all Speak

Word!!! That's why I was so hesitant to sign up on this forum, it seems things can get ugly quick for no apparent reason. Suge, I appreciate your post and get the point of it. I was in Bangkok back in 94' but I was touring with a band and wasn't into pool then, so I never got to check out that...

    Is it OK ?

People seem to do it all the time, mostly cues on ebay. I don't see anything wrong with alerting people with cue addictions to where they can get a fix.

    Let me introduce myself

I used to play with the Benson mainly but went the way of low deflection, so I pretty much play with the Predator exclusively. Some of the Titlists are going to be converted, but I will be sure to keep some of the nicer ones to display for nostalgia's sake. Any cue in my house would be at risk...

    Let me introduce myself

I played on the smallest table that was available back in those days. I'm sure you were nice enough because we were never up there looking for trouble but it always seemed like there was trouble about to happen at any time at that place.

    Good Article on Harold Worst

Thanks Hambone, I'm a huge Harold Worst fan from his hometown of G.R. I love reading more about him. I think he could have been regarded as the greatest ever if his life wouldn't have been cut short. It's kind of strange when I read about his life and see things about him that make him a real...

    Let me introduce myself

Thank you all for the wonderful welcome!!! Cuebuddy, you could possibly talk me out of one of those cues. They are nothing special as far as cues go, but I believe they are quite rare. I had a friend who was selling his billiards store and those were among some of the treasures he sold me...

Yeah, my bad, trolling is when you act like an @$$ on somebody elses forum. I see it quite a bit on the MLB forums.

    Let me introduce myself

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums and want to say hi to everybody. I've been trolling this site for years, and finally decided to take the plunge and sign up. My name is Brett, I'm 41 and live in Walker, MI...better known as Jason Kirkwoods hometown. I've been playing for about 12 years, but...
