Might I suggest a willard trimmer? I bought one a while back and it was perfect for me. Change tips at will to try out what i like. Also ended up paying for its self with the local league players because there is no one around that does any sort of tip work.

I've had really good luck with a ultra skin ivory hard, and the HH. Tried the white diamond and loved the hit but couldn't get it to stay on my ferrule. Might be the glue I'm useing. Currently trying out a lexan tip, and really likening the results. Breaks hard and still have control.

My issue personally hasn't been the run to the eight but the follow through in to the eight, for some reason I just can't get passed the eight. My solution, and I hope it works....I ordered 15 black balls and I'm going to play nothing but hitting in black balls.

Dean, Chuck does have a piloted 5/16-14 that I have been useing on my Schon. I have one if the older shafts with the long straight taper that I think is awesome. As soon as I can scrape together a few more bucks will be ordering another for a radial pin.
