Padgett The hit is stout. The Pau Ferro was twenty years old when I gave the wood Tim to make my cue. The cork wrap is slightly discolored. I choose the pure cork not the rubber infused stuff. I like the feel of the cork. The ferrule measures .509 The joint measures .842

    SouthWest Cues

Raemondo, I borrowed a cue from Robin Dodson while attending the BCA tourney in Vegas. The cue played solid. According to Robin the cues were made in China. I paid 20.00 bucks to get pounded by the BlackWidow and get entered into a raffle for a BULLFROG jump cue. You are absolutely correct some...

What poolroom did you learn to play at? Who were your mentors?

I learned to play and lose at the House of Billiards in Santa Monica CA. Baby Ray and Chauffer Bob were some of my influences. Doug Bernard taught me to maintain perspective.

What do you know about Jatoba

I know that guy. Jatoba Hymenaea courbaril comes from Brazil. Brazilian cherry (jatoba) is frequently used where good shock resistance is needed, such as in wood flooring and tool handles.

    One eye player?

Tell your buddy that he can certainly learn to play with one eye. Chances are that he will have to re-learn a lifetime habits. Did he lose his dominant eye? All obstacles can be overcome with heart and determination. Frustration and self pity are the enemy.

    SouthWest Cues

I like SouthWest cues. SouthWest makes a fine playing cue. I hate their take-it-or-leave customer service. I was told ten years ago that I could place my order and that would lock in the price. Ten years past and the price of the cue went up 300.00. The fact that they sell every cue they...
