The BD ss360/2 is a really good shaft. If you get one in curly maple they look GREAT. However, it won't have as low deflection as a Z3. Definitely lower than standard maple, though

The thing is, he stopped the cueball from scratching, then he moved it. That puts the onus on him to tell you that you had BIH. If he doesn't touch the ball, then you KNOW he scratched bcz the cueball is not on the table. One of the reasons why UPL has a loss pf game penalty for doing that.

Are you hitting your cueball thru the air? Maybe your cue ball would go straighter and farther if it had dimoles, like a golf ball. You know why a rifle is more accurate than a musket? You can't compare things flying thru the air with things rolling or sliding across cloth.
