Brunswick Anniversary - w/out the Aluminum Trim

I posted something in your other thread in the main forum. It looks like you've got the wrong link here. Here's the correct link to the craigslist ad: http://southjersey.craigslist.org/atq/1496001772.html If they copied the legs from the originals, you could buy replacement leg bands to give...

Brunswick Anniversary - Not Nickel Trim

Early Anniversaries came in 3 trim levels. According to the 1950 service manual: Model C had off-white baked enamel finish on the aluminum corner castings. No side pocket castings. Model C-I had the same enamel castings with side pocket castings Model D-C had anodized aluminum casting that...

    Brunswick Anniversary Question. Logos???

I never noticed that. The text for the Centennial rails in the catalog says: "New, extra durable formica rails - resistant to burns, marring, and liquid effects - available at extra cost." I had assumed that they switched to Formica in 61 when the Gold Crown came out. Markus

    Brunswick Anniversary Question. Logos???

My Anniversary has the same logo and Formica Rails as well: This is from the 1952 catalog: The first mention of Formica Rails was in the 1961 Catalog: The only picture of the table in the 61 catalog is the same drawing they used for years, and you can just make out the rectangular logo...

Buying an older Table, what to look for?

All good advice so far. On Anniversary tables, look for broken/missing mounting tabs on the lower corner castings, they often break. The lower thin edge of the aprons are prone to damage, from that picture they look in good shape. There should be another bridge holder on the other side as...

gold crown 8x4 for possible trade

IMO... Take a look at the link Mr Hoppe posted, and see what you can find in a 4 x 8 table. Most antique tables are going to be 4 1/2 x 9 or larger. Then ask the wife how much family room she is willing to give up to get an antique table. (not to mention additional $$ for something good...

    Brunswick Anniversary Questions

You're welcome! These table were not usually marked with a date, and have no serial numbers. Around 1961 when the Gold Crown came out, they switched to Formica Rails (like I have.) The earlier tables had a rectangular nameplate like this: Although I've seen pictures of at least one table...
