I believe the thought behind this is having a cue like no one else, other then the shafts. Custom to a point, looks wise and who the maker is. I hate playing somewhere and someone else has the same cue as myself. Kinda like showing up with the same clothes.

Love mine! Just put a kamui clear on my WD700 and it hits like a dream. I also have an ob pro classic fitted to it (united) and no where stiff hitting as mezz Wd700 shaft. And I've shot with ob shafts for a while. The smaller diameter butt also is a great fit for me.

A Mezz tip tool does have the in between radius you are looking for.

You mention Mezz shafts. The wd700 does not have a carbon fiber core. Solid maple with a drilled out tip end section. Similar to predator. Fantastic shafts. They do have a shaft with carbon core:D but not that one(their most popular). Extremely low deflection and great hitting! My opinion:thumbup:

Hmmmm Why is it everyone who defends the accused cuemaker already has received their cue? And if I recall Southwest cues do not receive a down payment until you are notified they are ready to start building. And they have an outstanding reputation.
