Is Shaw the best player on American soil

He didn't say that 50 players can win a world title, he said that 50 players can win a $10k tourney in the Philippines where it would cost him $3k just to play in it.

If I give someone the last 3 in 9 ball...

I appreciate the answer. I always thought the last three was a stronger spot then the 789 but now I know it's a weaker spot! As you can tell, I don't gamble, or match up, often.

Lets share the MANZINO again :)

I've loved the Gus 2000 since the first time I saw it. One of my favorite designs indeed and a masterful example of what I try to do in designs I create. Trav, I also love Mr. Manzino's take on the notched diamond, great cues!

    Full Time Extension Fad....

Yeah, I've been playing with a 60" cue for quite a while and have just ordered a couple mid-extensions to try out on a couple of my shorter cues. I'm 6'1 and the extra length allows me to have better mechanics more of the time.

I love the variety of styles in your collection! Thanks for sharing such a great group of cues with us. The TW makes a great, and measured, use of malachite, the Manzino is possibly my favorite box style cue of all time, the first Boar is an amazing example of their 8-point cues and the Searing...

So what is considered a high end cue ?

I'm in the camp that sticks to the literal definition of the words. High end means the high end of the spectrum of cues from a single maker. For the makers themselves I would use the term top tier.

    Photo resizing

You can open it in any photo editor and adjust the size. 1000 pixels wide seems to work well.

    Bridged Veneers.....who was the first?

Talk about a blast from the past. The James White cue (bottom) is what came from this thread and the Vigus (second from bottom) is new: Here is my next bridged veneer cue:

    Forearm/wrap/buttsleve length?

As someone who orders longer cues, some cue makers disperse the length throughout and some have just added it to the handle.
