Opinions of OB-1 with Everest tip

The Talisman is way too mushy of a hit. The best tip for the OB-1 IMO is the Moori Quick. It gives the most feedback. I used the Kamui on my other shafts and loved them but don't like them on the OB-1. They just don't feel right.

    Searing Cues Wait List

Feeling The Cue Ball Means Everything... I owned my first Searing cues ( the first matching jump/break, playing cue combo made by Dennis) from 2003 until I was forced to sell them here on AZ last year because of financial problems. I've been playing for over 40 years and have played at an A...

    Searing Cues Wait List

Just Send Him The Money............ Are you kidding!!!! All you would have to do is mail your Searing cue to the tournament director in Phoenix with your entry fee and he would send your Searing cue back to you with an envelope bulging with the first place cash.:p

    My first cue finally finished

Therein lies another problem; prying Scotts cold dead fingers off the cue first.:D :D :D Besides, it's not like the cue can never be identified. If anyone ever stole it, it would have to be put in a vault, never to be seen by human eyes again. Dennis is the only cue maker whose signature...

    My first cue finally finished

It's Much Better In Person Any cue made in Dennis Searings shop under his guidance gets the 'S' engraved in the butt cap. The signature is Scott's (notice it's much larger than the D.Searing normally signed on the cues). I had the extreme pleasure to hit a rack of balls with Scotts masterpiece...

    What is going on?? Shipping..

FedEx Next Day.......... My cue maker friend has been using FedEx for many years without any issues. It's worth the extra dimes. He also ONLY ships next day due to the amount of time an expensive piece of lumber has to sit in a hot truck. Just factor the cost of next day into your sale. You...

Wheat Cues Owners please post your Cue photos please

Bar Box Players Love Wheat Cues He probably only sells to the local talent that frequents the watering hole around the corner from his house or maybe they don't have a digital camera to photograph their quality works of cue art. I'm thinking they don't have internet access or slowski dial-up...

    "Schon" pronunciation

The word schon in German has an umlaut over the o. It's pronounced scheun and means 'beautiful'. "Es ist sehr schon." Loose translation; ( It is very beautiful). I sold my Deutsches keyboard when I left school so I can't put the stinking .. over the necessary vowels to spell it gramatically correct.

    Pool Table Lighting

You're thinking of 'daylight ' bulbs with the higher K rating. I recommend the 'cool white' bulbs as they are easier on the eyes after a prolonged session on the table. 'Warm white' bulbs, which put off a yellowish tint should be avoided altogether. Also , if you have an 9' table, you need an 8'...
