Women in the open.. Other side of the coin

The only thing I originated in my post was the word WRONG. The rest of it is from a newspaper article. So you are still the one who is WRONG and I am not wrong for posting an article to prove you were WRONG that came out before the other women teed it up with the men. (I am just kidding with...

Women in the open.. Other side of the coin

WRONG! Mildred "Babe" Didrikson Zaharias, considered by many the nation's greatest female athlete, fit all those descriptions in her lifetime. The one thing she wasn't: boring. Zaharias' name has come up often lately because she's the last woman to tee it up with the men at a PGA event. In...

watch this 16 year old put a 6pack on corr

What video were you watching? Almost every shot goes dead center in the pocket. There were 3 shots that touched a titty and dropped without rattling. And a GRAND TOTAL of 2 shots that rattled and went in. The final rack of the runouts the 1 ball and the 9 ball rattled and went in, THAT'S IT...

Accuracy of the Long Straight-in Shot

I just shot it 10 times and made it 6 with the cueball closer to the jaw of the pocket. If I ever fire a rifle at a dime from a 100 yards I will let you know which is more difficult. (I once explained the best way to shoot straight in shots in my opinion but no one cared.)

    Scott Frost is THE GREATEST

For anyone out there who thinks Scott Frost is just a one-pocket player I am posting a few links so you have a better idea of just how great Scott Frost is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kq1Z2aPaeUI http://itsacrime.typepad.com/its_a_crime_or_a_mystery/2006/12/never_fear_scot.html...

Where do you aim at when shooting straight-in follow / stun shots??

Don't aim at the object ball, just shoot the cueball at the center of the pocket as if there was no object ball there. I've had people who can't play at all do it and they can fire in long straight shots.

    swanee payout

When you consider they pay 64 places, 1/3 of the field, then it makes more sense. I know I paid $75 and won $1000 and my total expense over my normal expenses was $2.25 (I'm very happy). Parica's expenses were probably around $25 beyond normal (he had to drive further).

    Swanee updates

I guess the most excitement was caused by Melinda omgwtf apparently having too much to drink and passing out and having to be carted off in an ambulance. Then I believe it is Ron Marshall another local player having to get emergency treatment upstairs because his hip which has been replaced a...

Sarah Rousey comments on the Women's Worlds

If what Jay says in his post on another thread is accurate then I would say they are doing something right: "We had an estimated audience of 20-25 million homes on Solar Sports and ESPN Asia. Kind of makes coverage in the USA seem miniscule by comparison."

Chicken Chit Move Or Not ?

I am sorry to say but in my opinion you blew the call which resulted in all of the upsets. If you had gone to the tape you would have seen the cueball pass in the vicinity of where the object ball was and that it was a foul. The shooter explained the cueball path completely wrong forgetting...

3 one pocket books by Scott Frost

http://www.fictiondb.com/author/scott-frost~39895.htm In "Run the Risk" Scott covers risk/reward ratios and when it is time to run the risk and go for the win in one-pocket. In "Never Fear" Scott covers the mental side of the game of 1 pocket and the importance of overcoming your fears. In...

John Schmidt - how do you rate his one-pocket game?

here are the odds: Scott Frost 3-1, Cliff Joyner 3-1, Tony Chohan 4-1, Gabe Owen 4-1, Corey Duel, John Schmidt and Danny Harriman 8-1. (I would give Shannon Daulton better odds than the last three.)

Need help with a couple of shots I have trouble with.

Try using a longer bridge and hit it the same way you have been. The longer bridge will put more english and avoid the scratch.

    Scott Frost-funny story and update

Scott Frost was playing Jean Robert (Bobby) Bellande (the card player, Survivor participant) one-pocket a number of years ago getting 9-6 for $200 a game. Bobby didn't know who Scott was and was getting drilled. After Scott had robbed Bobby of his bankroll, Bobby came over to us to borrow some...

    Omg>>>>>wtf

I have sent private messages to Mr. Wilson in an effort to understand his logic. I won't write what he replied on here in respect to the fact that they were private messages. Hopefully, he will give his explanation to everyone and then he will understand he is not medically qualified to say...

Scott Frost bitten by black widow

Duh! It is no joke. The reason I never stated who the name of the good friend is because no one would know who he was anyway. A lot of people do know me and I wouldn't joke about someone having a life threatening condition. MRSA in the leg sometimes requires amputation of the leg. Wayne

Scott Frost bitten by black widow

A good friend of Scott Frost's just told me that Scott was bitten by a black widow. He is under emergency care and had a seizure last night. He has a MRSA infection in the leg and apparently it could be a life threatening condition and may require surgery. The friend of Scott's said he just...

    Keith Would have Crushed Them

The question wasn't what players today are better than you. It was what players today were better than the greats that were named. A lot of people on this list should not be compared to the greats and some of them couldn't beat some of the old timers TODAY!!!
