    I meant to tell you when you were asking about the steel poles, be careful which pole is closer to the table. I just started playing alot of straightpool and the damm pole comes into play when I'm playing. I just rack at the other end when playing 14.1.

    Long Overdue Thank You to Mr. Byrne

    The "Standard Book of Pool and Billiards was one of my first billiards books also. I've since taken this and Ray Martins book to Staples and had them spiral bound for a couple of bucks. It's nice to have them open flat on the table when playing.

    Philly Area pool halls

    CornerPockets is a good place to go to shoot some pool. Kevin runs a nice poolhall. He also has a Sunday afternoon 9ball tournament each week. This Friday night Mike Massey will be there putting on a show. :cool:
