Cues inside cases stored horizontally, will they warp?

Store cues upright. There is no side pressure on either shaft or butt. Both stay straight. Unless it was a flawed cue in the first place.

    Cannot upload pictures now???

Yeah, I don't try to post pictures through a phone. I think I tried a couple times before, and you run into sizing issues and that sort of thing. On a PC, no problem whatsoever.

    Cannot upload pictures now???

There are no problems loading pictures. There are a couple methods of doing it. One, use the download feature, and you end up with thumbnails that can be opened and scrolled through. Two, size a picture correctly and copy and paste. No problem. To keep it pool relevant:

Question about an ordinary-looking Rauenzahn cue

Does not look like Cortland. The dark strand is too dark.

tip technology - hardness at center different from hardness at edges

Somewhat agree, but for single layer tips such as Triangle, you want the biggest ones. They come from the better, thicker part of the hide.

    What killed the slip stroke?

Less straight pool, more nine and ten ball, and younger players get down further to shoot. You don't do a slip stroke when your chin is touching your shaft. So much different from the days of Cowboy Jimmy Moore, when they stood much more upright, and didn't take such longer power draw shots...

tip technology - hardness at center different from hardness at edges

Agree. Whether single layer or multi-layer tip, there are not going to be multiple levels of hardness over the tip.

MIZERAK "DOVE BALABUSHKA" All of Steve's cues tucked in the family closet now seen

Yep, it was in Asbury Park. Steve didn't get it back. If you search Lisciotti Balabushka, you'll find it. Somebody was trying to sell it here some time ago, not sure where it is now. Very nice cue. Edit, here it was. I don't know what became of it...

    Mosconi Balabushka by Tascarella

Good to hear from you. I had the impression that Bobby's first cue of this rendition had acrylic in the buttsleeve. I'm guessing you still have it, and it's a great cue to have. I wasn't sure if Bobby travelled to you or somewhere else to get the cue of this thread. There are some other...

    Mosconi Balabushka by Tascarella

Gorgeous cue by a talented cuemaker. Actually, both your cue and Mosconi's Bushka had five veneers. from the outside, Black, green, mahogany, blue, and white. It's a little easier to see in the following picture.

Proficient Billiards Cue Repair - Great Service

Yep, I check his website often. He restores cues like nobody else. It can be a regular cue, McDermott, etc, or it can be valuable, Bushka, Szamboti, etc. Scot does it all, and does it very well. He takes on old cues, which I like too. He did a restoral on a Paradise Diamond cue that I would...

Proficient Billiards Cue Repair - Great Service

Agree. He did a refinish on a Palmer of mine that was flawless. The very rare Second Catalog Model C. It's in the archives, as I actually put up cue pictures. I would recommend Scot over anybody else.

Proficient Billiards Cue Repair - Great Service

He has at least one assistant. A friend drove up a couple years ago and had some work done on a cue. Having said that, Scot is amazing and can do whatever you need for a cue.

    Teddy Bear Palmer

I thought so. Great looking cue nonetheless, somebody went to a lot of effort on that cue.
