    Pro Cut Pockets

Yes. He is off the rail. In fact, the object ball is almost a full ball off the rail. Definitely not shooting down the rail. Parallel to it, sure. Check the video again. You have the screenshots, so I'm sure you have it handy. -td

    44 Breaks & Only 3 Chances

Wood rack or template? If you aren't firing the wing ball in with a template rack, I would switch to another version. Fedor's new rack is pretty good. Agreed that 3 looks out of 44 breaks is not very promising, but it also seems statistically improbable. What do you mean "3 decent chances...

    Extension - 3D Rendering

Pictures are OK, but you really caliper measurements to get things to work. I only do designs when I can physically hold the cue and test fit everything. Sorry. What kind of weight bolt does your cue have? My typically solution for cues with press-in bumpers is to upgrade the weight bolt to...

    Extension - 3D Rendering

I've designed and 3D printed dozens of extensions for all kinds of cues. The biggest problem is the plastic pins that folks want. They aren't made to withstand any type of stress and will break off at the connection to the base. I strongly recommend using some other connector. I usually end...

    Would You Draw Back Here?

Even tiny pockets is something a little waxy ball can fix. :) -td

    Would You Draw Back Here?

I would suggest hitting the 4 ball a little fatter. -td

For those of You that don't know... The BreakRAK is getting some attention...

I've had one for years and swear by it. It really helps your standard 8, 9, and 10 ball breaks. It doesn't get as much use in my house now because of the 9-on-the-spot because the cue ball runs into the cords. But, to practice break mechanics (close to head on) there is nothing better on the...

Buy it or take a pass.

If you ask the right questions and it seems legit, I would buy it. Sometimes folks need to sell for personal reasons, they get an air barrel "hold" cue or they just broke up with their g/f that gave them the cue. But sometimes, things are too good to be true... If it's hard to tell, I pass.

Van Boening vs. Gorst 10-Ball Race to 120, Rematch June 2025 -- General Comments Thread

Is that betting terminology? [Shane +7 means he gets 7 on the wire, so he only needs 113 to win] Or are you saying Shane wins by 7? -td

Carbon fiber for the slickest feel, what grit?

Maybe just clean it thoroughly. Factory smooth is pretty smooth. CF is pretty dangerous to sand without PPE. If you were going to lathe it, I’d use the highest grit you have. Try 2000 and see if that works.

2025 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

[EDITED] I gave the ghost a try tonight, ended up winning 7-2. Kept going and final total was 14-2. Second set was 7-0. In the first set, I missed one easy ball and I had one rack had a cluster I couldn't deal with. Had a couple shortcut racks as well. But overall, I feel good missing 2...

Is this a real 1-pocket rule or what?

Not calling it a foul to keep someone playing necessarily means it IS a foul. We aren't disputing whether you call it or not. But whether it is a FOUL or not. I think your own logic confirms it is a foul. Also, it's written in the rules, so there's that. -td

Is this a real 1-pocket rule or what?

This can't be the case because you could just start shooting balls in the kitchen and you shot wouldn't "start." I think you may be misunderstanding (or misapplying) the rules. -td
