how would it be usefull for carom? where you are more concerned with the cue ball angle off the object ball and not vice versa unless i am not understanding.(definitely possible)

i should not answer for the op but it seems to me you could put a magnet on the bottom under the chalk like shown above with the quarter and now you have a magnetic chalk holder also i dont understand why this would not fit in a pouch or find a pouch that it would fit in
