Also I spent $85 on a very figured shaft blank from somebody else who sells this and the grain is nowhere near straight. They did not use grading that I recall so maybe I shouldn’t either.

Yup. (Thanks for enlightening me lol). Usually when pulling back the spring on the cross slide to move it all the way left for the next pass. I try to slowly uncompressed it but sometimes I’m not as careful and then I forget to check and expect it to cut at the same exact depth...but it moved...

Looking for a router mount that would not be able to spin. There are two tracks in the cross slide, so has anyone made a mount that screws into both tracks? Two legs are better than one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just tested my first kielwood shaft out of this stock. Hit with it for 30-45 minutes and it seems to do just what I want. I’ll have to play some one pocket to fully evaluate it but so far I’m beyond thrilled.

All gone except the ones I dowelled, but more are on the way...
