Had this layout in a tourny this weekend, (7 ball goes past the 9) I chose to run the 3 very easy balls when I was done nearly everyone asked why I didn't play the carom. Hope it's not a stupid question both outs are fairly easy but what would you folks do?

What's the best shot you've ever made? I made this shot when a new co-worker wanted to shoot some after work. It's not the most difficult shot I've made but the reaction was priceless, I ran down to the eight playing 8 ball and left myself something like the diagram I'd been practicing jumping...
