Why is slow nap cloth no longer used?

Like roller skating Roller skating sidewalks with metal wheels was easy to pick up. Equal to a nappy cloth. Then I graduated to a hardwood rink with hard rubber wheels. My wheels came off LOL for quite awhile. Learning on a fast cloth can give one the Willie's out of control feeling. So if...

    WPBA Masters Tournament

I'll tell ya what you missed. Nothing! Half there should be selling vacuum cleaners. streaming needs more cameras so we can choose which table to watch. There were a bunch of good matches but not on the 1 camera. The finals were played to 9 people.. Mary Kenniston was a talking raving maniac...

A shooting tip for those who've given up all hope of shooting straight.

Pool is a simple game. If one can't hang down an arm and move it back and forward fairly regular need to stick to bingo.

Any pro plays with 13mm shaft?

Think you got it wrong. (The effects of having the smaller diameter shaft is beyond the scope of this article. In general, a smaller diameter tip will provide a tighter hitting surface and allow you to put a bit more spin on the ball. The smaller tip may also be more unforgiving of mishits...

Any pro plays with 13mm shaft?

The game can be played by never going outside 1 tip width of the cue ball on these fast cloths. In fact one's game will improve immensely doing just that.

    WPBA Masters Tournament $70,000 purse! (Feb. 27-March 3, 2019)

Well at least the diamond system would rid us of the year class of Geometry. And if that not then a mirror system would suffice the average player.

    New Technology LD stiffness

Yet it is happening evidently. LOL I don't think these players have a bad tip or stroke. Maybe not adjusting to new material. Also it takes week(s) to months to get the feel for the new shaft. Pool shafts should fit like a glove to the purchaser like instantly like Golf shafts fit from a Pro and...

How straight does a cue need to be?

Believe it or not some players like a crooked stick. Get a softer whipped like feel at impact. I play with a warped maple cue for breaking and swear breaking is easier. Also many fine players in rooms did quite well with house stock using sandpaper and steel wool for adjustments. I only play...

This is how pool should be...imho of course.

fast cloths brought on all this BS. I don't think anything can be perfectly round anyway. (Instead a tolerance is set for the diameter. These balls are machined to appear round and to approach perfect roundness. Their shape, however, is not guaranteed to be perfectly round. There is a tolerance...

This is how pool should be...imho of course.

No doubt in my mind it's the best. I'd pay for that all day long. Notice short closed bridge on Mataya. Slower cloth table allowing for stroke let outs. I play on 2 slow tables and don't have to be a surgeon. Fast tables induce choking.
