    Entry/mid level low deflection cue

It would probably make quicker work and you could even skip a couple stages using a sawzall. Have a friend hang the shaft off the rail and spin it like hell as you turn the shaft down with the sawzall. Definitely go with the grain of the wood. Edit: You never know these days, so just in case, I...

One of these is all you need. Don't worry about all the fancy stuff. I'd get the 12.5 mm shaft. https://www.seyberts.com/players-sneaky-pete-cues

Anyone know David Deboy? Selling a homemade ball polisher

I tried a wax/sealant (hd poxy) that is rated for high temperature resistant, but it just wears off quickly like was discussed before. I mainly use Wolfgang rinseless wash that I make as a quick detailer using distilled water. A little goes a long way. As for different polishes and measuring...

Anyone know David Deboy? Selling a homemade ball polisher

Not that I can see, but I also wipe each ball with a clean microfiber cloth as I pull out each ball before placing them on the cloth just in case. I've had no problems with spots on the balls or them marking up my cloth.

Anyone know David Deboy? Selling a homemade ball polisher

I just about pulled the trigger on a new Diamond ball polisher myself yesterday just to buy myself some time and talked myself out of it. I'm just going to rebuild mine and try and make it better. Just need to find the time to do so. I'm just sliding the carpet in at the moment when I polish the...

Anyone know David Deboy? Selling a homemade ball polisher

I'm currently using up the rest of my Aramith ball cleaner, then after that will use 3D One. Most of the time I just give a light spritz of Wolfgang quick detailer and wipe the balls with a clean microfiber cloth when I remove them. 3D One is a light finishing polish and not very abrasive...

Anyone know David Deboy? Selling a homemade ball polisher

Cutting 2 inches from the width of the carpet. After about 3 years velcro attached to the backing of carpet has separated. Trimming the width down will reduce the weight and stress on the velcro. The balls only touch a small width of the carpet when polishing. Velcro backing loose in video, but...

    talent isnt everything !!!!!!!!!

Hello Tin Man, I like how you put your thoughts into words, well written. I already know I'm a perfectionist and never put much thought into it. I actually spent a couple hours researching about a perfectionist. I guess that's not a great trait to have and guess that's why my wife is pissed at...

Accurate cue placement-Is it technique or is it talent

I think the main thing that's underrated is how many repetitions and time involved with practice sessions. When I practice I push myself to the point of wanting to give up, then push myself through it until I succeed. The feelings a person goes through after a long days hard practice session...

https://drstankovich.com/hard-work-not-natural-talent-is-often-the-real-reason-for-athletic-excellence/ When your giving 100% and feel like giving up, it's time to give it 1000%. Don't ever give up. If you don't have money for instruction, there's tons of instructional videos online. Paying an...

Accurate cue placement-Is it technique or is it talent

In the past year I changed, can't think of what you call it. Basically my chin was at least 6 inches or more above the cue. I had to change my stance and some other things to get my chin on the cue. The biggest challenge for me was retraining my feet where to go. When I got my stubborn feet...

It amazes me how a tight back hand grip screws things up

Speaking of being jacked up, this is one of my favorites. Your bridge hand resting on the rail above the corner pocket and your arm for your bridge hand has nothing to rest on.

how to fine tune my 9 ball game

Depending on the difficulty of the shot your trying to make 10 out of 10 times. If it's a really difficult shot, you may shoot the shot a thousand times and never make it 10 out of 10 times. As Clint Eastwood said, every man needs to learn his limitations. lol If it's a shot you missed that you...

How to get marks out of balls

I wiped the balls down with some Wolfgang as a quick detailer to make sure no polish is left on the balls. Nice clean balls. lol If I ruin my balls, I'll just buy new ones. The balls are nicely clean. Pool player's being hustled to buy a small $15 dollar watered down ball polish. LOL
