    Unique mech tools

Hi John, Just saw comment! Funny stuff, you a right in that he had all these grand ideas of stuff I could do for him. I came close to making a climber, probably would have if he would've shown when he said. He sure is a funny Guy. I should make it and name it after him. The new "ErgoEgo 1000...

    Shipping a Pool Table?

shipping a table I used to do crating professionally for a few moving companies. The slate crates for a 9' 3pc 1" are best done with 1x4's. Use 4 or 5 lockers and preference is to pneumatic nail frame and screw in lockers. My work was onsite, but wherever possible I would measure items and make...

Who is "qualified" to recalibrate Diamond rails?

Nice post Mark! The mighty rkc has a real issue it would seam with progress being made that isn't his. There are skills and tools that will never see the light of day on this site. Do you know anyone with the ability to make their own tap for example on the forum. If you ever want a proprietary...

    1/2 down when scheduling

Good topic! I take a third down for any multiple day jobs. Typically I like being paid at completion, for standard work. I keep very good paperwork so customers know costs, and still get the occasional move where customer assumed you'd install new cloth. People can be funny. As I also store...

Who is "qualified" to recalibrate Diamond rails?

Are you actually making a personal attack while complaining I did the same? Is their gravity on your home world?

Sure ill bite! Getting banned for calling your bullshit and lies out is a badge I wear proudly. No idea, haven't had one in the stable yet. Difference between us is I admit ignorance then research until I'm not. You play the Glen card and go cry to Mr Wilson when you run out of intellectual...

Who is "qualified" to recalibrate Diamond rails?

Glen, you are such an ass. You have a lot of nerve saying there is no one in his area capable. For someone with a rampant ego and self promoting personality this doesn't surprise anyone who had the phone to the ear with you for more than half hour. Even if you think I am a hack, which I am most...

Actually Glen...guess What? I just pulled what looked to be 37's off an antique Brunswick ...switched them to 55's with no trouble. Originally I though it was snooker table with standard pockets. Learn something everyday.. Rob WWW.tabletek.net I'm away from computer this weekend..ill upload...

    Opinions on Champion Fabric

championship I took on a pool room this past year where they use only Championship cloth. Tour edition on Gold Crowns and Ultra on rest. It was the first time really working with that cloth as I never played on it so I always steered toward Simonis. The cloth seems to show wear much less than...

    Who decides????

I love this! Glen, you fell for bait and you aren't even smart enough to know. I wonder how far past your ability ill be in ten years. You remember me calling your "accuracy " out in Jersey with pat and Bob. You have no idea how precise things can be if your still sanding facings freehand on a...

    Who decides????

Props to all for calling out Glens BS here! I got banned because I challenged that knucklehead in the same way he challenges everyone else. Wanna get me banned again, go ahead. I don't rely on any customers from here, the majority of jobs I took on would have been passed over if they contacted...

    Who decides????

That's hilarious Glen! I have respect for Bob and Pat from friendship and as fellow mechanics, though I have been at odds with Bob since the rail incident. Yes I did make a mistake, unlike you when it came up I immediately took responsibility for it and made steps to correct. I had more contact...

    Who decides????

Wazzup!? This all is friken hilarious. Just have to put that out there! Cred to all those finally voicing their Glenn experience. There was a time in a galaxy far far away when the notorious RKC would keep me up all hours of the night talking about the difference between a Gc1 and a Gc2... The...

Before you post - Are You a Real Mechanic?

All Hail the King! Hi Glen, I would love to see you stand up and admit to a mistake once and a while, all mine end up public and I am fine with that. Yes I made a mistake, and Yes I was wrong for rushing a job. Maybe I am a Yes man after all. Do I need you to make a good living...Nope. Down...

    Transporting 6' bar table

Hi Johnny, Is this the table you are getting? This is the first 6' Irving Kaye I have seen in my area, moving it next Monday. Not very heavy, if you don't have to go up any flights of stairs you probably can leave the slate in it (about 450# total). I moved an 8ft version of this table a few...

    How to improve this frame???

Hi Donny, Ever think about using 2" leg angle iron? 1/8 or 3/16" thickness would be easy enough to drill onsite and you can get it cheap at a steel shop. Make sure to go to a medium to larger distributor as they sell in quantity cheaply. Might spend a buck a foot.. Not sure what size the table...
