Old school traditional stainless jointed Davis-Prince cues

All three of the cues are excellent old school samples. I would love to have any of them. I especially love the incorporation of the veneer colors in the joint stitch rings on all of the cues, and the added stitch rings in the butts of the two non-window cues. It's sometimes the very little...

Old school traditional stainless jointed Davis-Prince cues

If I may... a compression fit in a piloted joint has the protruding part of the shaft end of the joint (call it the nipple) squeezed when the shaft is threaded into the butt end of the stainless steel (or brass) joint. A standard piloted joint has the nipple just slide inside of the butt end of...

Old school traditional stainless jointed Davis-Prince cues

All are very nice, traditional cues. I love the butt of the middle cue. That's old school at its finest. Chris

    Tascarella Hoppe

From your pictures, it is NOT a full splice. All the Tascarella full splice cues that I have owned and seen are easily identified by the fact that the veneers come together (usually at the second veneer) before the wrap. As this has a gap between all veneers at the wrap, I would have to say it...

    Cue on eBay MUST SEE

The way he states things, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to know that the "53 years" is the experience of anyone who touched it or commented on it. Say.. 18 months each and 35 people, and that would be about right =) Chris

    Cue on eBay MUST SEE

If you look even more closely, of the 4 items in his "100% positive feedback", only 1 of them is where he was the seller, and that was for those super high end 1 cent sunglasses. I doubt that I would even buy a $10 pair of sunglasses from this guy, much less a no name $800 or $1000 cue. Chris

    Cue on eBay MUST SEE

Actually, he did. But he has since changed the listings. 2 days ago the was a question about who made the the cue and where it was made. His response was that he didn't know who made it or where it was made. While that message was still up, I sent him a message asking how he could claim 53...

    Ivory joint schon tributes

Not to mention that I and others posted pics of the cue months ago. A simple search will find the pics. Chris

Fancy Murrell, Manzino and many others

I knew that the one I preferred the most couldn't be a Maurrel, because I love his work and love that cue. Seems that whatever I pick, the opposite will be the case =) In any event, 2 beautiful cues that I'm sure won't last long at the SBE. Thanks, Chris.

    Cue on eBay MUST SEE

I love the "Plays like" BS, and then he has NO idea who even made it?? This guy is a joke! Thanks for the good laugh, Kot =) Had to add... how can he say "53 years of cue making experience went into this" when he doesn't know who made it? lol Chris

Fancy Murrell, Manzino and many others

This will be a silly question, I know, but which is the Murrell? I know that Kennt and Manzino are more than able to have made either cue, so I was wondering which was which. I love the wrapped one, and love Murrells, so that's probably the Manzino =) Thanks, Chris.

    JB Case

Well, if $400 is the right price, anyone may have my black 3x6 from the original batch of 5 years ago for the same price. Mine is in mint condition, and has never left the house. If you need pictures, just let me know. Mine is the tube type, not the "hug" type. Here's the link to the case on...

    Autumn Cue - Finished

That would explain why it looked like a melding of the radial and 3/8-10 Modified. Very nice design on the pin. I love it when even the little things (or not so little, as the pic is just a "bit" important) are taken care of. Chris

    Autumn Cue - Finished

Simply gorgeous cue with excellent craftsmanship in every aspect. Just curious, is the pin a radial, or a 3/8-10 Modified? Looks almost like a Modified Radial. Chris

    Volturi Case to Matched Set

The final picture of the case and your cues shows (much better than any of the working pictures) how nicely the case suits the cues. As for 15 days including shipping, that's truly amazing. 15 days would be faster than I could imagine if he lived next door to you!! Nice case, customer...

    Thoughts on this case

I have a Wave just for storage. The interior is the same as the one available in all of his cases,, the "Loveable Hug" interior. After getting 3 of his Rugged Cases, I find I prefer it because the exterior is almost bullet proof. But, for the money, the Wave is one of the best cases out...

    New Davis-Prince cue.

Gotta love the stitch rings with matching veneer colors in the butt and at the joint. Very nice all around. Chris

    Coll cue, by Coll Cues

No, the pictures definitely don't do the cues justice. But, Carlos should be sending me the original full sized pictures of the other cues I posted, and when I get them I'll be adding close ups from the inlays and ring work on those as well. Everything on my cue is extremely precise and clean...

    Coll cue, by Coll Cues

Close ups Here are some very close up views of the ring and the diamond with silver dot inlays. The first is the ring ( a bit blurry at the bottom half), the second is of the diamond in the point, and the third is of a diamond in the butt. I hope that these help show the workmanship in these...
