Anyone ever hear of Richard Brookings. Here grew up in the Detroit area and moved to Louisville in the 70's. He is 78 years old and plays one pocket SO STRONG. We play just about everyday and he is simply masterful for is age.

No smoking here in Louisville...no miss cues as of yet. I dont frequent the rooms where that might happen though. There are a few rooms where I wouldnt leave my cues alone to go smoke.

add me to the cocobolo list as well. I really like the look of snakewood and tulipwood as well. An ebony cue with snakewood points is tough to beat...but I will take a plain jane piece of cocobolo with a black leather wrap anyday. Simple and beautiful.
