    Ebony value

50k and it's yours lol. Gonna have to wait a few weeks to get it cut at the timber yard as my saws would shit themselves at the site of a lump of ebony like this :)

Badges have arrived and are ready to go in. it took 3 weeks to get them here but it's been worth the wait. I'm really happy how they turned out and people seem to like the black and gold one best.

    Graphite Cues

Yeah it took me 9 attempts to get it right but I developed a great composite cue when i was working for a composites company. Works perfectly on english pool and snooker. Never tried it on US pool but if the tip size was changed I can't see why it wouldn't work.

    Brits and their chalk

Not read the whole thread but... Its ACTUALLY a foul in some rules to leave it on the rail. It is construed as it could be used as a marker for a double or a snooker escape for example. just FYI... Not sure about Snooker as i'm only an occasional player but there are 4 major rule sets in UK...

    Silver or metal for veneers

I once saw a guy who used brass sheet as a veneer in a English style snooker cue. It weighed a ton! looked pretty though.
