I want to mention the box with this set is the best yet, was blown away. The Billiard Ball Museum sets have gotten better each time!

    Zeus cues.................??

Your an idiot or mildly retarded, possibly both. The Cue I linked is $25,000 plus. His Merry Widows start at $5k on the lower end because he does not do any cues that are not multi-segmented with extremely detailed inlays. But I'm sure you've watched some YouTube videos on Zen cues and his new...

    Joss West 5/16x14 JP

Agree the removing and stowing of the JP's is now part of my pre-league ritual. More importantly, they are beautiful little hats for my cues. Why would you deny your cues, pretty hats....

    Man, pool halls are dangerous

Not to derail the Concealed Carry thread but I have learned that this was in fact NOT gang related as previously reported in the thread. It was in fact the pool halls Friday night BCA league attempting to convince the Wednesday night APA league to "relocate" because of spilled drinks and food...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

It's an expensive set, when complete. Rubik tracks prices better than I do these days. Personally I think what people are paying for sets right now is insane but I have most of the set I wanted already and clearly demand is far outstripping supply. Honestly this is purchase needs to be lensed...

    Joss Cue Question

Joss is an outstanding cue, love the brand, love the design, especially the gold label cues from the 80's! You can use any 5/16-14p shaft your heart desires! Except there were some weird butts made in the early 90's with acme pins that don't work with standard shafts.

Is your most often used cue and favorite cue, the same?

So my playing cue right now is a 85 Richard Black built off a full splice custom built Helmstetter blank. But my favorite is a 73 Szamboti barbell. Either way I pair it with a 30" Triple 60 CF shaft

What to do with a broken Gus Szamboti?

You and I have very different definitions of the phrase "clean break". Good luck with whatever you wind up doing.

What to do with a broken Gus Szamboti?

So I showed the eBay photos to three different makers and none of them felt it was fixable without cutting the points out and resplicing the forearm. So basically you have to destroy it to fix it. If you want to keep it a Szamboti the.best suggestion I heard was making a short bridge cue out...

Ever see a Valley Table this old?

One issue with Valley's this old is trying to update the rails. The mounting points are not the same with current Valley rails so trying to use off the shelf requires you or your mechanic to tap new holes in them to align with the table's attachment points. This becomes magnified with Ridgeback...
