Yes. The leather is wrapped very tightly around the tubes. The two butt tubes match up perfectly with the 3 shaft tubes so it makes a square. That is the first thing Rusty checked before agreeing to make this case. He did not want any movement with the tubes - ever.

Hi...I did not want a strap. The 2x3 configuration makes for a really nice compact size and easy to carry with just a handle. I wanted very clean lines and for me Rusty nailed it.
